The gradual bleaching of hyperpigmented skin conditions such as chloasma, melasma, freckles, senile lentigines, and other unwanted areas of melanin hyperpigmentation.

A thin application should be applied to the affected area twice daily or as directed by a physician.

Each gram of Obagi Nu-Derm Clear contains Hydroquinone USP 40 mg/gm in a base of purified water, cetyl alcohol, glycerin, sodium lauryl sulfate, stearyl alcohol, tocopheryl acetate, ascorbic acid, sodium metabisulfite, lactic acid, saponins, disodium EDTA, methylparaben, BHT, propylparaben and butylparaben.

Selling this product on line without a rx is prohibited by federal law. Nothing containing over 2% hydroquinone can be sold in the U.S. without a rx.
Cons: Agains federal law to sell this product as it is being sold here.

The Obagi skin care system has been very helpful for my red-headed, freckled, woman of a certain age skin. I`m also prone to skin cancers (so far nothing too bad). Saw my Dermatologist last week and she was very pleased with the results.

I love Obagi products! I had alot of sun damage on my forehead, lots of brown spots and these products took them away. Very much recomend this product.
Pros: Makes your face feel great.

I LOVE the OBAGI line. Was referred by my MD, who after 12 years with the MD business, went into skin care. This was the line she recommeded for me, and it has been the best choice I ever made. I have this product, which I put on after the OBAGI: Cleanser/Toner, and C-serum, then the CLEAR, and either the night or day cream w/C and other anti-oxidents, as well as the agents defined on the product site. (The strength s/b chosen depending on age, and need, or as recommended.) It works great! It`s all I need, after spending a lot of money on dept. store and even natural brands - this works much quicker. I use it mainly for pigment problems, but it works great as anti-aging, wrinkle preventing and past damage/wrinkle correcting, and brigtening my face.
Pros: Cons:
Pros: It makes the brown areas and spots go AWAY, especially ones from hormones. I haven't had to use any facial "plastics", as this as been just as good. It also helped my wrinkles go away, and my skin is smooth. It is bright, and everyone estimates my age at least 10 years lower (maybe they are being nice, but being stopped at the bank, etc. other people have asked me what I use - and I tell them about this site.) PROS contineud under CONS as there are none!
Cons: There are NONE related to the OBAGI line or this product; however, unfortuantely, the MD who referred me to it was murdered a little over a year ago. THANK GOODNESS she told me all about the OBAGI line and products, and when to change from the "lighter" one (the yellow colored bottles) to the "heavier" ones (Blue bottles) at about age 50. I just started using stronger C-serum, and got the bargain of the stronger package at 280.00 when on sale. I added the "Clear" to the package, and it has worked wonders due to the hormonal "period" I am going through, being 50 soon.

Have used the Clear for almost 3 years and truly like the way
the product makes my face feels. To be honest if it was not
so cost prohibited would enjoy indulging in a daily overall skin application (legs, arms etc.)
