Severely dry skin is extremely sensitive. When deficient in lipids, the skin is unable to function as a barrier against outside irritants and easily becomes irritated. To respond to these needs, La Roche-Posay has developed LIPIKAR, a complete line of cleansing and skincare products for severely dry skin in children and adults.
The lipid-replenishing efficiency of these products resets on a natural ingredient with exceptional properties: Shea Butter. It nourishes, protects and soothes the driest skin and restores the lipids it lacks (unsaturated fatty acids, healing anti-irritant sterols) to rediscover suppleness and comfort. It is easily absorbed by the skin and perfectly tolerated.
Formulated with a gentle cleansing base enriched with lipid-replanishing, shea butter, these cleansers gently clean the skin. They protect the integrity of the hydrolipidic layer and protect against the drying effects of water.
Results: Immediately soothed, protected amd lipid-replenished, the skin regains lasting comfort and suppleness.

Avoid hot water. Rinse skin well. Dry skin gently by patting, not rubbing.
