Solbar® Shield (SPF 40) provides a transparent, natural and soothing barrier against UVA/UVB rays. Micronized Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide combine forces to deliver UV protection, guarding skin and underlying tissue from UV-induced cellular damage and inflammation.
Solbar® Shield also softens and hydrates skin with a blend of pure Aloe and Vitamin E. This unique formulation leaves a light and non-greasy feel on the skin.
•Hypoallergenic •Very Water Resistant •Unscented •No Synthetic Sunscreen Agents
Containing two physical reflective agents, micronized Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide, Solbar® Shield is a light and non-greasy sunscreen that provides UVA/UVB protection. Its soothing emollient formula leaves a light and non-greasy feel on the skin.
Apply liberally and evenly to all sun exposed areas of DRY skin 15-20 minutes before sun exposure. To ensure maximum protection, reapply to dry skin after prolonged sunning, swimming, excessive perspiration or towel drying. Repeat applications during prolonged sun exposure are recommended. Consult doctor before using on children under six (6) months of age.
Active Ingredients: Zinc Oxide 7.5%
Titanium Dioxide 5.0 %
Other Ingredients: Purified Water, Isobutyl Stearate, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Cetearyl Octanoate Cetearyl Ethylhexnoate and Isopropyl Myristrate, Dimethicone, PVP/Hexadecene Copolymer, PVP/Eicosene Copolymer, Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate and PEG-100 Stearate, Benzyl Alcohol, Ethylhexyl Stearate Octyl Stearate, Vitamin E Acetate, Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA.

my skin has become terribly sensitive to the sun for the past few years and this year especially, my spf 60 wasn`t working either. i got samples of the solbar shield and found it to be perfect!!!
Pros: it gives me total sun protection, as my skin burns even through my car windows!! it is great!!
Cons: it's a little thick to put on but other than that i have no complaints at all....a great product!!!

I feel titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are the best barriers so the ingredients are the best.
Pros: My eyes are very sensitive and it does not make my eyes burn - even with extreme physical exercise.
Cons: It does take time to rub in to make the white disappear but it eventually does so it's worth it because of it's effectiveness.

This sunscreen is the best I have used over the years. I am Italian and have very dry skin and I tan very easily. I have used this product for the past two years and it is a great product to keep your skin soft.
