As a person with a severe sun sensitivity condition, I am extremely careful with the sun protection products that I choose. Ever since my dermatologist suggested that I try Solbar Avo 32 (a few years ago), I have been a dedicated user. Solbar Avo 32 gives me very good protection, does not leave white residue on my skin, and acts as a kind of moisturizer as well. I use it every day for my face (along with Solbar Zinc 38 for my neck). Many other sunscreens irritate my skin, but I have never had a problem with Solbar Avo 32. I don`t know what I would do without it!
Pros: Goes on smoothly, melts thoroughly into the skin, provides very good protection without irritating, contains Parsol (avobenzone), has a moisturizing quality, fragrance-free, non-comedogenic.
Cons: Can be a bit greasy (which is why I avoid using it on my neck) and wish it could have a higher SPF without sacrificing any of its other excellent elements (if any elements needed to be sacrificed in order to increase its SPF, I probably would not be able to use it--with my sun and general skin sensitivity, it is one of the very few products that I can use that goes on smoothly and does not leave a white residue on the skin).
